Bud's Backstage Experience
Bud’s Backstage Experience!
June 1, 2017 – 7 p.m. to Midnight
Budweiser Gardens welcomes over half a million people through the facility doors each year, yet not many guests see the backstage area as it is off limits to the public. This area is the ‘home away from home’ for artists, road crews, band members, and production teams during their visits to our venue. While artists play to thousands of people under the lights on stage, a separate ‘show’ occurs backstage to ensure the performances run smoothly from start to finish, which is the premise of Bud’s Backstage Experience.
The event provides guests with a sneak peek into the life of a touring artist and includes tours of venue dressing rooms which are replicated to look as they did when mega acts such as Pearl Jam, Prince, Dixie Chicks and Ed Sheeran played at Budweiser Gardens.
Bud’s Backstage Experience will once again include a complete buffet dinner from Spectra Food Services & Hospitality, drawing inspiration from artist requests the venue has previously fulfilled for some of the biggest names in the industry. Guests will also be treated to live music, dancing and ‘Tales from the Road’ to round out the evening.
The musical entertainment at this year's event will be North America's premiere Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tribute act, Full Petty Fever! Nominated for a 2017 Jack Richardson Award in the category of Cover/Tribute Act, Full Pettty Fever has been playing venues across Ontario and is sue to have guests dancing to hits such as Free Fallin' and Runnin' Down a Dream.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit two local charities, Children’s Health Foundation and Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario.
~ Children’s Health Foundation raises and grants funds to support specialized paediatric patient care and equipment at Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, the delivery of exceptional programs, long-term therapy and rehabilitation services at Thames Valley Children’s Centre and research into the causes and cures of children’s health challenges at Children’s Health Research Institute.
~ Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. This year, our chapter will be celebrating over 30 years and 1,300 Wishes granted, since our inception in 1986, in the 16 Counties we serve across Southwestern Ontario.
Additionally, the event features a silent auction with exclusive concert memorabilia collected from events at Budweiser Gardens. Highlights for this year’s auction include; guitars signed by Eric Church and Green Day respectively, a signed framed event photo of Elton John, an official Canadian Country Music Association hockey jersey signed by the artists and much more.
Tickets are $75.00 each. You can purchase tickets at: http://www.budweisergardens.com/bbe
